In April of the Year of our Lord 2020, a new compilation was proposed among the CHATMM brethren.

Instructions were as follows:

The list of participants shall be arranged into a specific order via a randomised process.

The first participant shall make a track, and then pass the last 10-30 seconds (the participant’s decision) on to the next name in the chain.

Most of the next participant’s track should be made from this audio.

That participant shall then pass the last 10-30 seconds of their track to the next name in the chain.

Once the end of the chain is reached, the last participant shall pass the last 10-30 seconds of their track to the first participant, to be mixed into the beginning of their track.

Our cast includes (in no particular order):

A Canadian who works in the mental health sector, is high 24/7 and has an unhealthy fascination with the wrestlers of a shorter stature. A New Jersey citizen with an encyclopaedic knowledge of jungle & dnb and is forklift certified. A Romanian chess master with a bean fetish. A New York native who collects 80s Japanese Salaryman ambient tapes. A Dutch history teacher who DJs in a Napoleonic war bunker. Ex-Minneapolis Casino tech turned ranch wrangler. A Floridian illustrator of school text books. An Alaskan man that knows his Salmon (rip). An Australian beer brewer and drug dealer. Another Australian, this one fasts and writes code for vintage video games. A Californian who lives atop an avocado grove, shoots guns in the desert and loves his cats. A northern (uk) anime and bodybuilding nihilist. A San Diego coding auteur. An Irish android (who’ll cook you a lovely curry and/or Sunday roast). A Rochester, NY Trekkie with an obsession with urban legends and faxlore, unsolved mysteries and MIDI. A dirty London man with illegal energy and unwashed feet. A German kayaking aficionado with no previous experience in music making.
